The members of the Gamblesby ‘He Brews’ coffee club have been busy adding to their poppy display which now covers the full length of the railings in front of the chapel. The cross and church will also be lit each evening this week as a reminder to never forget the victims of war be it in years gone by or more recently. The community remembrance service will be held on Sunday at 2pm where a local bugler will play the Last Post and reveille All are welcome.
The coffee club are also pleased to have been awarded a further warm spaces grant from the Cumbria Community Foundation to assist their regular get togethers each Tuesday from 10am to noon to which all are welcome.
