What is it all about?
A warm and welcoming space to enjoy a cuppa and a chat in Alston.
We have registered with the Warm Welcome Campaign – a nationwide initiative to encourage warm spaces to be set up, where people can gather for company and to keep warm warmwelcome.uk.
How can I get involved?
Everyone is most welcome – everything is free and it is a cosy space to pass the time of day, especially through the coming winter when everyone is concerned about fuel costs. The venue will be staffed by volunteers who would love to welcome you with a cuppa and a smile!
We’ve also set up a crowdfunder to raise funds to continue keeping the Chat Room going, so please do donate if you can. The Co-op Warm Spaces Funding Boost is also providing live match funding, so every donation is worth twice as much!
