Our Chapel is currently closed for worship
The original Wesleyan chapel was first built in 1818 with the school room being added in 1865, this part of the chapel remains the same today.
In 1904 the old chapel was pulled down to make way for a more up to date building with more seating for the congregation. A new pipe organ was installed in 1959, which remains in situ today.
The Chapel is Grade 11 listed on the National Heritage List for England under the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 for its special architectural/historic interest.
Although currently no services are being held, the Sunday School is used by various organisations and groups such as the Post Office, a history group and a weekly coffee morning every Wednesday.
